At 14 hands Major is double registered APHA horse and PtHA pony.
Major is intelligent and athletic with a quiet disposition and unique rare color. He is a natural western pleasure mover with a 10+ lope, a natural headset and a very cadenced rhythm. Major is a nice soft slow legged mover. Major is bred to perform, but you wouldn't think a horse built to halter could move so good. We started him on reining and he already has a great sliding stop.
Many champions and point earners close up in his pedigree including Doc O'Lena, Great Pine, Jabalina Chex & RW The Rock.
First shown in halter and color in 2005 - Major earned points in both, and was high point stock pony at the 2005 MN PtHA Sampler Show. Major has earned over 184 points and will be continuing his show career in 2007..
Majors first foals were born in 2005 and they have amazing conformation, color, and very trainable personalities. His foals seem to be born broke - they live for attention and like to learn and are willing to work. Major's first foal shown - Biebers Calypso earned 2005 PtHA Open Futurity Stock Pony Reserve Champion and 25 points in halter and color at his first show - earning him 6th place overall for 2005 MN PtHA S/H Pony Halter despite showing in only 1 of the 4 shows. Major's foal's continued to gain recognition by winning the 2006 MN PtHA Stock Pony Limited Futurity Grand Champion, and are proving themselves in both halter and performance.
Major has several 1/2 siblings (AQHA) that are point and money earners in Reining, Western Pleasure, Roping, etc. We also have AQHA stallion services available at our SD location.
Shipped semen is also available at mare owners cost.
The booking fee is $150.00 and is part of the breeding fee - not in addition to it.
